KALINKA-CARDS
Taking photographs whilst travelling has become an almost natural reflex, which has been facilitated by the widespread use of digital cameras. The destination is determined by images, widespread in the media, which we have internalised. Once arrived, the tourists seek, through the lenses of their cameras, to find this reality in appearance. Therefore I went to the most popular tourist destinations in Paris, to take photos of tourists taking photos of famous monuments. Through the production of a series of postcards, I reemploy the visual code of the classic postcard.
