about Eva-Maria Raab
Eva-Maria Raab is an Austrian visual artist whose work delves into the ephemeral aspects of nature, utilizing cameraless photography techniques like cyanotypes to capture transient phenomena such as light, shadow, and movement. Since 2015, she has been creating "live prints" by exposing light-sensitive paper directly in natural settings - often incorporating elements like river water, driftwood, or her own body—to explore themes of time, space, and the impermanence of existence. Her poetic and experimental approach has been showcased internationally and is featured in several prominent public and private art collections.
